- How to Blanch Almonds Recipe: This worked well for blanching almonds so I could make almond paste. The almonds that soaked in the remaining cold water, allowed the peels to come off the easiest. It worked great! I did 4oz almonds and 4oz sugar, and less than half of an egg white all in the food processor and it was super simple!
